HUD public housing authority for Louisville Metro and a Moving To Work (MTW) agency. Administers public housing and the Housing Choice Voucher program. All applications - public housing and Section 8 - are submitted through an online applicant portal. - Head of household must be 18 or legally emancipated at least one family member must have legal residency status household must meet HUD low-income and background requirements. RESIDENCY RESTRICTION: applicants who do not currently live in Louisville or have not maintained a Louisville Metro address for the past 12 months must first lease up in Louisville Metro for at least one year. All units must pass Housing Quality Standards inspection and rent must be within program limits. Security and utility deposits are the participant's full responsibility. Population served: Varies by program
