Goals after launch
These are later goals. G1–G8 are proposed review criteria. Publishing them does not approve their thresholds or mark them complete. Dustin and the review team still need to agree on the criteria and assess dated evidence.
Planning review dated . This is a record of the proposal and known evidence limits, not a live status dashboard. No One Left Outside left public beta at launch on October 14, 2026, by Dustin’s recorded decision. Some readiness criteria were still open at that time; they stay tracked here.
G1: Listing checks
Measure the share of published listings with a recorded source check in the last 30 days, excluding imported check events. Show sources and label uncertainty honestly. A website comparison uses the provider's own website and retained evidence; it does not establish availability or eligibility.
Review status: Open: the required share is awaiting Dustin's decision and review. No current percentage is claimed here.
Evidence needed: A dated, reviewed count of published listings and qualifying check events, with the same 30-day window. Website-check labels read: No One Left Outside checked the provider's own website on {date}. This is not provider confirmation.
G2: Usefulness feedback
Proposed: at least 50 voluntary answers to whether No One Left Outside helped, with the share answering Yes and its uncertainty reported honestly.
Review status: Not established: the target remains a proposal; feedback is not proof of how many people received help.
Evidence needed: A working feedback route and a dated report of answer counts, the share answering Yes, and an uncertainty interval.
G3: Measurement works
Proposed: 30 consecutive days without gaps in the permitted aggregate counts, with the internal reporting connection working.
Review status: Not established: no completed 30-day evidence window is published here.
Evidence needed: A dated report of counter continuity and reporting health, respecting privacy choices and excluding test traffic.
G4: Reliability and speed
Proposed: 30 days without a public outage longer than 15 minutes or a release reversal caused by load. Review response speed alongside availability.
Review status: Not established: local tests do not establish live reliability.
Evidence needed: A dated monitoring and incident review covering the whole window, plus recorded response-time checks.
G5: Safety review
Repeat the confidential-location audit and review crisis and domestic-violence guidance before considering the gate complete.
Review status: Awaiting a complete, dated review: this page does not claim a clean safety audit.
Evidence needed: A completed audit receipt and safety review, with protected locations kept private.
G6: Accessibility review
Proposed: review the 20 priority pages against WCAG 2.2 AA, address findings, and update the accessibility statement with the actual coverage and remaining limits.
Review status: Partial evidence only: local automated checks do not establish a complete audit. Human keyboard, zoom, and screen-reader checks still need a recorded review.
Evidence needed: A dated report identifying pages and interactions tested, methods used, fixes delivered, and unresolved barriers.
G7: Corrections are handled
Proposed: a median time of no more than 7 days from a reported change to a correction, measured over 30 days.
Review status: Not established: no response-time result is claimed here, and this proposed target is not a promise for an individual report.
Evidence needed: A dated corrections report with the number of reports, the measurement method, completed corrections, and open reports.
G8: Honest public wording
Review the public copy and the beta decision together. Change beta wording only after Dustin's recorded decision and a review of the evidence; keep No One Left Outside's legal-status wording accurate.
Review status: Decided: Dustin removed the public beta label at launch on October 14, 2026 (his recorded decision of October 10, 2026). Some readiness criteria were still open at that time and stay tracked on this page.
Evidence needed: A review of the exact public wording and a recorded decision tied to the release being considered.
A separate release-readiness checklist
The release review also has nine operational checks. They use a different numbering system from G1–G8, and satisfying one list does not automatically satisfy the other. Each needs current evidence; earlier reports of success must be rechecked for the release.
- Automatic checks pass on the release being considered.
- The live database structure matches that release's code.
- Listing reachability is checked against a scope chosen by Dustin, with a dated result.
- County-filter limits are fixed or clearly explained.
- Dustin records the trademark position or the decision about that unresolved question.
- A restore from the current hosting service's own backup is completed and documented. A historical restore from a previous host does not close this check.
- Accessibility review records automated and human checks, fixes, and remaining limits.
- A test alert is received and acknowledged by Dustin.
- Visitors can submit usefulness feedback, and incoming answers are reviewed.
A current-host backup restore receipt, complete accessibility review, and acknowledged test alert remain evidence to obtain in this planning review. Expanding coverage to another state also needs its own publication and listing checks; it does not by itself establish readiness.

Privacy & security principles
These principles guide the design and review of additional tools for case managers and partners. This section describes intended safeguards; each tool needs its own review before handling personal information.
Privacy by Design
As new tools for case managers and partners are built, privacy protections are planned into the design from the start, not added afterward.
Least Privilege Access
Future accounts would see only what their role needs — nothing more, by default.
Organization Isolation
Partner organizations would each work in their own space, with no visibility into another organization's clients or notes.
Audit Logs
Sensitive actions on any future partner tool are intended to be logged, so access can always be reviewed.
Secure Authentication
Any account-based features would require modern, secure sign-in — never a shared password.
Consent-driven sharing
Personal information would only ever move between people and organizations with clear, informed consent.
These are commitments guiding future design decisions, not a certification or claim of compliance with any specific regulatory standard.
