Medicaid renewal went to your old address

Update the case address and check the renewal notice. Changing your address alone does not complete a renewal.

  1. Check the case today

Sign in through the kynect link on the state page below. Review the Message Center and To Do items. Ask staff for notices sent to the old address.

  2. Update the address in the case

Use Report a Change and finish Sign & Submit. If Renewal is showing instead, update the address during renewal. Ask staff for help if blocked.

  3. Get the exact renewal task

Ask which form or proof is missing and when it is due. Tell staff when you moved and when you learned about the notice.

  4. Complete and save the submission

Review the renewal, send the requested proof, and keep the confirmation. Updating My Information for phone or email is separate from reporting an address change.

  5. Ask about a closed case

If coverage ended, ask whether staff can review the late renewal or whether you need another application. Ask about appeal rights and current coverage status.

If this does not work

Call Family Support at 855-306-8959 or find a kynector through Get Local Help. Ask for a copy of the notice and a clear next task.

Confirm before you go

Confirm the office, papers, notice deadline and coverage status. Ask your care team about upcoming treatment while staff checks the case.

The agency decides who can get help. Funds, appointments, and space may change. Keep private records with you; this page does not ask for them.
