Child care payment help is ending

Read the CCAP notice before help ends. Ask Family Support what is missing and how to challenge a decision you believe is wrong.

  1. Read the ending notice

Find the reason, end date and appeal instructions. Gather your recent work schedule, income proof and messages about the case.

  2. Contact Family Support

Call 855-306-8959. Say you got a notice ending Child Care Assistance. Ask whether missing proof, renewal or a reported change caused it.

  3. Ask which task may fix the case

Ask what proof staff accepts and when it must arrive. Send it through the confirmed route. Keep copies and ask staff to check receipt.

  4. Request a hearing if you disagree

Tell staff you want a hearing and explain why. Ask for the exact deadline and receipt. Ask whether payment help can continue during review.

  5. Check the child care plan

Ask your provider which date and costs apply if CCAP ends. Ask Family Support about other routes. Keep the next care and work plan clear.

If this does not work

Ask Family Support for language or disability help and another way to submit papers. If the notice seems wrong, keep the hearing request separate from fixing missing proof.

Confirm before you go

Confirm the office, proof list, end date, hearing deadline and provider charges. A hearing request does not automatically promise continued child care payments.

The agency decides who can get help. Funds, appointments, and space may change. Keep private records with you; this page does not ask for them.
