Pregnant and need WIC food support in Indiana

Indiana WIC serves pregnant women and offers food and nutrition support. Ask the program to review your situation.

  1. Step 1: Ask the state WIC program how to start

Call 1-800-522-0874. Say you are pregnant and want to ask about WIC. Use the state How to Apply page for the application steps.

  2. Step 2: Prepare for a certification appointment

Use the state page’s appointment checklist. Ask about proof of identity, address and income, and what to do if you are missing a paper.

  3. Step 3: Ask about the health and food review

WIC’s review includes a health and dietary assessment. Ask what the appointment involves and how to explain your needs. The program decides what applies.

  4. Step 4: Ask about food support

WIC lists supplemental healthy foods. Ask staff what food support and next steps apply after your review. Call to confirm before making plans.
